Easy Fab

Hi everyone, I hope all of you had a fun and safe Halloween last night! I didn't dress up this year, but I always love seeing all the adorable kiddos in their costumes! But let us face the reality, the sembreak is over and it only means that we are going to face books, papers, quizzes, horrible exams and more of school stuffs again. Wait...but behind those sad reality is what we are waiting for "our allowance is back!" right?

Back to my motive, this was a super easy outfit I threw on last weekend after going to Sirao. This is pretty much an effortless look that you've probably worn before or seen on many people.

It's so basic and so comfortable. I love it. As I have mentioned before in my previous posts, I always aim for comfort first but without the need to sacrifice style. I just paired my off-white lace top with black high waisted shorts which I really love because they’re versatile. They’re easy to put on when you need to do a quick change of clothes like what I did and it also make your legs look longer. High waisted shorts can be easily dressed up or down. You can wear them with converse, wedges or slip-ons on my case, and I guarantee people will compliment your outfit either way. Just be confident! It takes a bold girl to rock these babies, hold your head up high and let the world know how great you know you look without bragging!

From the mini-Amsterdam garden we went to Rome(Temple of Leah). The panoramic view there at night is very fascinating and refreshing too. As you approach the temple, you will be in awe of the gigantic gold lions at each side of the stairs leading to the entrance.

I also tried layering it with a blue denim vest to give the outfit more intrigue and depth.

which one do you like , the outfit with the vest or without?

Sirao Flower Farm

Go to places: SIRAO FLOWER FARM

Did you ever hear about the flower farm in Barangay Sirao, Busay? The mini-Amstermdam garden of Cebu? Well, for all those who are wondering about this place worry no more as I share my experience with you.

Sirao flower farm is another new eye-catching spot in Cebu which garnered a lot of attention lately because of its captivating beauty and garden-fresh flowers. The 5,000 sq. meter flower farm has different kinds of flowers. One of the striking flower in the farm are the Celosia locally known as "tapay"  in colors red, yellow, pink and orange and ranges  from dwarf varieties that only grow four to six inches high to vigorous types over three feet tall. The farm is settled down in a beautiful peak of  Barangay Sirao, Busay, Cebu City which is known as the home of fresh and beautiful flowers. Here you can find the farms of flower that you see being sold down at the Freedom Park in Carbon market in prices tripled from the price at the farm to cover the vendor's transportation, market fees and the middlemen.

im in love with the view

with your P20.00, you can take a bunch of photos you want around the garden

not to forget a selfie

Along the Transcentral Highway, several roadside stalls are set up from Busay to Sirao for people who wanted to get fresh flowers from its source. For a fee of at least P100, they can have their flowers arranged for a basket or a vase.

In demand to the season (all Saints' and all Souls' day) ,I heard they're going to harvest these flowers today. But still we can see these flowers back in their respective season by December and February.

There are two options to be able to reach the place  through commuting. One is through a local motorcycle ride (habal2x) from JY Square Mall in Lahug that will transport you directly to Sirao with a fare of 200 each (back and forth) or you have to ride a 62C public jeepney from Gaisano Country Mall then drop by Julies Bakeshop in Pit-Os Talamban where another set of local motorcycles are in queue for Sirao. It is around a 45-minute ride from the city to the said barangay.

For those who uses  private vehicle, you can get to Barangay Sirao by driving up to Busay then stretch to Ayala Heights then straight to the farm wherein you can directly see it to your left. ( or you can ask the residents there for an exact location to help you get the place)

I really had a great time with nature's finest gifts.

Lots of love, Simply Gilian ;)
